I created this map of Hackney to capture the spirit of the neighbourhood and community amongst iconic landmarks and leafy trees.

The map was commissioned by Hackney Council and appeared on large posters across the borough, promoting a huge tree-planting initiative.

The illustration started life as a pencil sketch, before being scanned and coloured. The final piece was then turned into a vector image for large-scale printing.
